Company credit card

Hi all, hope someone can help with a question that's been bugging me.
I've just recently started working for a large multi-national company, where I have to travel a lot. They've given me a corporate Amex card, and say that it has to be used for all my expenses (some kind of kickback with Amex, I guess?). The hotel/restaurant/whatever sends my bill to Amex, who somehow forward it to my employer's expenses system. It's all technology, anyhow. I then have to validate the claim by sending in the original receipts to my employer's expenses dept (based in Poland) via snail-mail, but I can't do that until the debit arrives in the expenses system. Once the receipts have been received, and the claim has been approved by several layers of management, the relevant payment is made to my Amex account.
My concern is that, all this takes time. In the last couple of months, my employer has been very close to the wire in paying the expenses to Amex. Sooner or later, a payment is going to be late which may well show up on my (otherwise exemplary) credit history. All this will be due to circumstances beyond my control, but I'll be the one who gets the black mark. In the opinion of the group, would I be justified in refusing to use the corporate Amex card if it impacts my credit rating? Or is there a way of highlighting that the missed payment was not my fault?

It wont be listed on your credit rating at all. Its a corporate card in your name.On the way to ZERO!!

As long as YOU haven't signed a credit agreement in YOUR name, it isn't your problem and won't be on your credit record.

Check with your employer that it's an account registered to them, with you as an authorised card holder.
As people above have pointed out, if you haven't signed a credit agreement, it's not going to report back to your credit file.From £8,800 to £2,200 in 2 years.

Thanks, I didn't realise that. Just looked on my Equifax report, and the Amex card isn't listed :j. Not going to worry about it any more.0
