Hotels in Nottingham

Is there anyone who can recommend a reasonably priced hotel in Nottingham.

I am looking to book a Thursday & Friday in early October and need a single room.

I have researched the usual sites and am wondering if there is somewhere decent away from the centre but on a good public transport route e.g near a tram stop.

I look forward to your comments.

I don't know if this helps at all but I've put together a list for some of our wedding guests. These are all city centre hotels and the rate is their quoted rates for double rooms but might be worth contacting hotels direct for discounts and single room rates.

Wouldn't advise the Premier Travel Inn in Nottingham South as the A52 runs right behind it and all I heard all night were HGV's slowing down for the roundabout then starting off again.

There is Premier Travel Inn in the City Centre that is right next to a tram stop, and only a few mins walk to the Market Square. Think it is approx £60 a night.

We stayed in the Holiday Inn Express and it was very nice, right in the middle of the city too.

The Westminster Hotel on Mansfield road is about 5 mins drive out of the city. Got a good reputation and there are plenty of buses that run into the city.
