so I don't think she'll need them for a while. Is it good value for the make up part of it?
Hi,
So here's what's in there;
5 x Lip Gloss Godets (6.4g total),
5 x Pressed Powder Eye Shadows (6.4g total),
8 x Baked Powder Eye Shadows (5.7g total),
Blusher,
Bronzer Trio in Limited Edition Colours (8.2g total),
Pot of Eye Liner in Black,
Compact with Metallic Cream for Eyes, Lips and Cheeks,
Limited Edition Mascara in Black,
2 x Eye Pencils in Coffee and Black,
17 Photo Flawless Skin Primer,
Lash Curler,
Pencil Sharpener,
5 Piece Brush Kit,
Hints and Tips from Makeup Artist Vanessa Guallar.
I take it she's just got the bottom three items & you can get tips for free from friends, online or (my favourite,) YouTube. Which leaves...

At first I thought no, not good value, but the quality of no 17 isn't bad for the price. I had those cheaper sets mentioned previously when I was younger & never used them because there isn't any pigment in the powders, so you feel like you're wasting your time putting it on.
I doubt a just turned 13 yo will use eyeliner or the dark lip glosses, and mascara doesnt last forever, so in my eyes, you're really paying for the powders. I'd try and see what the pigmentation is like on them instore. I think it'll be ok though. And after all that rambling, yes, I think it probably is good value for your daughter.Trying hard to money save....0 -

Hi, after some advice. I normally buy soap and glory every year but have decided to give it a miss this year due to still having so much left over and even with my oldest daughter using it, still got enough for next few months and that's using it daily. So with having quite a bit of points on my boots card thought i would treat myself to one of the weekly offers. I have my eye on the No7. I know some say its smaller than previous years but i do love their products and I am using their cleanser and toner at the moment and have used the creams in the past. Even though its smaller this year would you say its still worth it. Have tried the Gok and sanctuary and not really fussed on them. Trying to decide otherwise i will end up adding to my already massive perfume collection and wasting my points ha ha.'There are far better things ahead Than any we leave behind '0

If you get it on the star gift then yes it's a pretty decent price if you'll use the creams, i find these creams last ages, my mil buys me the no7 box every year or else she'll buy me a cleaners, toners and a night and day cream and i always have some left when the next year comes round and i get moreDEC GC £463.67/£450
