Ebay / non UK purchasers?

I've not done much selling on ebay before and have listed a number of items to clear out our loft. Despite having excluded most of the world from the postage section I now seem to have an Italian and Romanian bidder on two items.
Any advice ... am I doing something wrong?
Of course these bidders could be in the UK I suppose, what do I do if someone wins and then requests delivery outside the UK?
Finally should I amend the auction desciption to say they will only be sent within the UK?
Many thanks.

I asked a similar thing a few days ago and got some helpful responses.
Still a bit confused but think I have sorted it out now: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4205687"So long and thanks for all the fish" :hello:0 -
Excellent - thank you. I've amended my buyers requirements.0

FWIW, I am still getting requests from non UK buyers. Had one for Slovenia the other day. But not sure if they can actually bid and win. Guess I will find out in a few days when the auctions end."So long and thanks for all the fish" :hello:0

You can block contact from members in countries you don't ship to.
I'm not disputing the answers you got on that thread. But I've been listing mobile phones for years with "no international postage" in the appropriate box without one single bid. Many requests to allow foreign bidders though.0 -
You need to put the exceptions in place to preclude those from countries you don't wish to ship to.
You can state in your listing, but this will not prevent people buying if they wish to. You can also opt for UK postage only, but this too will not prevent anyone from another country, it will just give them the opportunity to buy and request a postage cost from you later.0
