The cheapest is Iceland at £1.89 for 3 litres (50% extra free) - both fat and diet Coke.

We buy the Lidl 'Premium' cola, it's insanely cheap and tastes fantastic. We also buy the premium lemonade, which again is very nice.

Asda cola is also very nice & they do the 4 bottles for £2.

I would personally go for pepsi or coke as people will be able to tell the difference - its 98p at Tesco not sure how long for

For me I'd personally get the cheapy one. Lid* or Ald* are under 40p and taste pretty good.

  • I'm a total cola addict- and if you can't find the branded on offer somewhere, my vote would go to sainsburys "american style" cola, it's more expensive than their normal own brand, but not as expensive as the brands- but is the closest I've ever got to the real thing without buying it, certain own brands are nice but if you're looking for a diet coke/coke substitute- try a tin

Original Coke is the best (especially out of a glass bottle), but I do not like artificial sweeteners and so the diet/zero ones taste yuk.

With other branded drinks (Fanta, Lilt, the various Lemonades) I always check the label and ditch them if they have artificial sweeteners, and "No Sugar" & "Low Calorie" are warning labels to me (as is "No Artificial Flavours", which invokes some loophole that a sweetener is not there for the flavour).

Sainsburys own brand Lemonade is OK, and Tesco Tonic Water is quite good.

If you have a local cash and carry you could ask them to do a deal with you (see if its cheaper then costco).

Personaly I don't like coke but am a pepsi fan. I can tell the difference in blind tests but other members of my family can't.

I like Ubuntu coke, had given up Coca Cola, but relapsed as like coke
    a lot.

can you check with the bride and groom whether they and the guests would be ok with a different, perhaps even healthier alternative?

I'm a pepsi max drinker, but would drink diet coke or coke zero too.

The cheap cola just doesn't taste like cola. None of the ones I've tried anyway. I would tend to go for either coke or pepsi to serve at a wedding and look out for them on special offer. Especially places like B&M or home bargains.
