Confused about dog food

Hi My dog is a springer aged 4 and i've had her since she was a puppy. I've always fed her on Wagg and she's fine, full of energy as you'd expect and never had any health problems. Vets recommend the canned Chappie as being easy to digest. The dry stuff is completely different ingredients wise and pretty rubbish IIRC.
