Martyn, I must admit I assumed it was Comet as this is the retailer quoted in the FF leaflet that I linked. As it isn't Comet, I apologise for the assumption.
I would definitely contact the FF and explain to them that you are having problems with the supplier. Tell them about the ridiculously short warranty as well.
They should be able to do one of two things, either inform the supplier that they are wrong, or ask you to return the voucher for that supplier and send you a new one for Comet. You could even ask if you could get the Ipad from John Lewis as it has a two year warranty - if you don't ask, you will never know. They might be happy to send a cheque and have you provide a copy of the receipt.

we got an ipad through the family fund and i was told what family fund covered but could put money towards a 32gb one. Cant remember what company i had to use though, think we paid £41 extra0
