We have been with BT for phone line & O2 for BB (legacy package) for the last 4 years. Normally take out a 12 month contract with both of them. This was what we had last time. BT had given free evening & weekend calls as we were on a 12 month contract. Used LRS as well on top. Have a O2 mobile phone so got usual O2 customer discount plus 9 months free out of the 12 months contract.
Have come to the end of the contract term so looking at options. Would prefer to stay with BT & O2 for calls and BB respectively if possible. What are the best renewal packages available/ you have been able to obtain? could someone share please? In case switching providers would be more money saving kindly direct me to that as well. Thanks for your help.

If you have no expiring features, there is absolutely no reason to renew, as your arrangement will not expire. As you've met the minimum term, your contract continues at the agreed tariff regardless. This has the benefit of no additional lock-in period.0

No it won't - BT will start charging extra for the E/Weekend calls package -think its now £3.15 per month UNLESS you agree to continue for 12 months - Look at PLUSNET for calls/bband and LRS packages.0 -
Your contract is not ending-your minimum term is. Not the same thing. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Hi. It's that dreaded time of year - existing contract expiring! Having spent ages reading forums and reviews, I've decided to stick with BT. We've been with them for years for line rental and last year they gave me a deal for unlimited broadband. Prices have now gone up and I'm sure I could probably get it cheaper elsewhere, but bad reviews have put me off moving as never had any problem with BT. After number crunching, this is my price; Paid 12mths upfront for the line rental, £129,which equates to £10.75 per month instead of £14.60 per month. Saving of £46.20 on current prices, but these are going up in January 2013. If you paid upfront now the price increase doesn't effect you, so a bigger saving still. Broadband Option 2, 40gb is £10.25 per month, but after haggling they gave me unlimited for same cost (should be £13.25 pm/£13.65 Jan 2013)so a £36pa saving. Total monthly outlay £21.00 plus calls plus VAT. This includes free evening and weekend calls. I think this is okay-could probably better but happier to stick with the devil I know. Hope this helps and apologies for the long post. Phew!0
