Hi
I started a claim for esa on 7th Aug, had a letter to confirm it will start from 10th Aug, 3 days after the claim started which i understand, The letter says i will be paid the assessment rate of £56.25 and it will go into my bank but ive still had nothing, when can i expect payments to start and does it get back dated to the 10th Aug.

2 months almost... yes you should have had payments long before now. Call them ASAP.... it may be that sicknote hasn't been received or something simple like information missing regarding SSP. Sadly ESA admin is extremely poor... communications appalling... so you'll have to chase this up."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0
