Broadband speed discrepancy???

I am with Talktalk and often the speed is very slow. Checking with broadbandwatchdog I get 0.484 Mb/s a few seconds later using TT speed check I get 6.89 Mb/s then rechecking with broadbandwatchdog I get 0.633 Mb/s so why is TT saying I get a decent speed???

Try another internet speed test, either speedtest.net or internetfrog and see what they say.
I have just tried broardbandwatchdog 3 times and got 3 different results 6mb,8mb and 10mb using the 2 i said i got 12mb from both.

Thanks for that, will try them next time it slows down, the slow speed is intermittant and very obvious, currently 6.83 on broadbandwatchdog and everything is fine.
