Chamomile & sarcococca advice please
3 little 10cm pots of chamomile[Treneague]were a lucky find on the Reduced table a few weeks ago. They've quickly radiated five or so further little clumps, all nicely rooted, but their pots are crowded now.
Should I establish each bit in a new pot before planting into grass next year? Or when?
Ditto sarcococca? I have little rootlet spriggy runners, about 10cm, weeded from our local surgery beds. Love the scent and would like them to be part of a front mixed hedge, as yet unplanted.
I saved a scraggy thrown out anthemis noblilis, teased out the tangled stems, all now growing/flowering round the edge of one pot. What's the best way of increasing these please?

It really is such a bonkers garden year. Just ate a fat strawberry, more flowering. Raspberries are doing well, as always, but the canes are more fragile than usual. Will gather only 2nd lot of runners ce soir. One yellow tomato and that's it. Thankyou blight. Peppers have suddenly decided to do something, prolific but small and colour crazy. Purple, orange, red, green all on one plant, differing ripeness notwithstanding.
Oh, squeezing in another ? - when to lift beetroot. Is there any culinary use for leaves and stalks? They look so good and the slugs are keen.

Beetroot is related to chard/perpetual spinach, so no reason why you shouldn't eat the leaves in a similar way. Use in a similar way to spinach, I would suggest - maybe steam for a few minutes until wilted.0

I have chard, and discovered that I do not like the stems, they are stringy and not nice tasting, but the leaves chopped up and reduced down go nicely in an omelette, or a pasta sauce.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0
