mortgage lenders what do they look for

my partner has 1 child which he never sees but pays £5 a week for, on his applacation he said he didnt have any kids. will they find out that he has?

Why did he say that he doesn't have children? After all, £5 per week in child support is not really going to make a big difference to the lending decision.0

I'm sure if your partner disputed paternity the CSA would have arranged DNA paternity testing, its standard practice - they do not take any money until paternity is either admitted or proved via DNA testingI am a Mortgage Adviser

i don't know if CSA payments come up on credit searches, a mortgage advisor will probably know that. But £5 per week won't make a lot of odds.0
