Changing Uni when term has started?

Hi just wondering if this can be done or would the student have to reapply for the following year?

  • Go and talk to your student services dept asap. There are financial implications after week 3.
In general, moving within your university, assuming that the course you like has vacancies, can be done in a fairly smooth operation. Need departments to agree/degree title changing etc.
External moves are a bit more difficult and would usually mean applying through UCAS again but you need to check with the destination university. If they have space and are willing to accept you it might be possible, but again you need to be very quick.
If you are just fed up of the course you are on and don't think it is right for you I would speak to student services, personal tutor and your careers service. Then have a good long think about what you want to do and take some time out/speak to people/get some good advice/use the time productively.
There are three types of people in this world. Those who can count and those who can't.
