Have a look on ebay hun, thats where my OH has sold a lot of his records.
You really do need to check one record at a time as some will be worth only £1 but others could be worth hundreds if not thousands.
A lot of 70;s records are worth a great deal of money.
good luck

eBay is the first place I'd go if looking to buy.
I've done the 'We'll take the box for £50' and have often made thousands from it.

eBay. Get a login, look for Completed Listings for the artist or title, and sort them by highest price first. Those with red prices didn't sell, those with green prices did, and the green prices will give you an idea of what they will fetch.
How old?
78s from the 40s and 50s?
LPs from the 60s?
more recent?
You could also look in your local library or buy a copy of the Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide. Published by the same folk who publish Record Collector magazine, and generally regarded as the bible in these circles.0 -
This is an american site but does give an indication of prices you might get internationally

Although it has no doubt been said before and probably goes without saying, I would add that with both dealers and collectors condition is everything, and can make a considerable difference to a records value.
Personally I've lost count of the number of times I've bought a record on ebay listed as mint, only to find it has a creased/rubbed/marked or on one occasion even a split sleeve.Annuity loan matures - Collect £100.0 -
Couldn't agree more above, too many downright liars out there who try to act all innocent when taken to task ... grading is of the utmost importance0

Grading, sleeve condition, inner sleeve intact all add to value."An arrogant and self-righteous Guardian reading tvv@t".
