Help throughout the country on getting your animals neutered

Thought I'd start a thread to show people what help they can get in getting their dogs and cats neutered. I'm not allowed to mention my own group's scheme in my particular area, but seeing as the problem of unwanted animals is nationwide, I'm hoping I'm allowed to start this list.
The Dogs Trust
http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/az/n/neutering/default.aspx
This site I found on the internet, and lists many organisations offering help with cats. Notice that some of these organistions, like Prevent Unwanted Pets, also help with dogs.
http://www.catchat.org/neuter.html
There will be many local schemes that dont show up on the internet searches, so if you know of any in your area, please add details.
Most cat organisations have humane cat traps so you are able to catch any non-handleable cats. Depending on the number of volunteers that a group has, they might be able to assist with the trapping and transporting, as long as you agree to let the cats return after neutering.

Dont forget that neutering wild cat colonies, or even just the one wild stray in your garden helps prevent many unwanted deaths. This organisation's speciality is ferals.

The Blue Cross mention part way down their webpage that they can help with neutering

Unless you're suggesting that the 'remainders' of the pet provide a meal then I think this is in the wrong board

Realised that after I posted, but dont know how to move it.DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.0

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.0

In Kensal Green, London low cost neutering for all, free if on certain benefits, a student, or the cat is a stray that you've been feeding for at least 14 days, and free for any staffies or bullbreed dogs- gorgeous as staffies are, they seem to end up in rescue homes more than just about any other breed.

Says that they are part of the C4 scheme, which I'm just going to google.DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.0 -
The C4 cat scheme seems really easy to use. Well done to both the national and local organisations that fund it.

Eligibilty seems to be as follows
C4 scheme
The ‘C4′ scheme, established in 2002, is a joint initiative by major animal charities working in Greater London to tackle the problem of too many cats. The Mayhew Community Veterinary Clinic is a participating practice in this scheme.
You are eligible for free neutering if you live within this area and:
a. You own the cat, and you receive either State benefit OR State pension OR Council tax benefit OR Housing benefit.
b. You are a full time student
c. You are on a low household income
d. The cat is a stray which you have been feeding for at least 14 days
Proof that the owner is eligible has to be provided on the day of the appointment.DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.0
