What engine oil would be required for change, for a petrol car? (oil service/change)
Car:
A grey pegeout 406 LX, petrol,

what oil would be required?
if you can find a picture/google image too that would be great

not according to eurocarparts. http://www.eurocarparts.com/engineoil fully synth from all model years on the 1.8.

I just looked it up on ECP and it gives what I stated with the odd 5w30 fully synth thrown in. Have you previously looked up a Ford on ECP as it seems that the cookies retain things. I just did and now it is only showing 5w30, cleared cookies and it is now showing the 10w40 and 5w40. Last time I used ECP site it couldn't come up with the correct oil for a Focus !!atrixblue.-MFR-. wrote: »not according to eurocarparts. http://www.eurocarparts.com/engineoil fully synth from all model years on the 1.8.

Go to the Unipart website, tick what part you want (including oil) and enter your reg number in the box, and it will bring up what oil you need.
Unipart are much cheaper than Halfords.
