How to scrap yard a car? -what is the procedure, with DVLA etc
A car of ours is to be scrapped, in a scrap yard,
what is the procedure of this?
call the scrap yard to come and collect it? do they come and collect?
and then what are the steps to de-register this vehicle with DVLA, as it wil no longer be used?
ADDED:
and are there companies who take your vehicle to scrap?
do they take a fee?
and how can they be trusted, that they will do that - scrap the car??

destruction certificate from the scrap yard? or from DVLA? -scrape yard
and are there companies who take your vehicle to scrap? - yes
do they take a fee? - they pay you £50-£100 for your car
and how can they be trusted, that they will do that - scrap the car?? - ask them are they registered with DVLA and will they issue a destruction certificate. If you fill in the correct section on the V5C, you are covered no matter what they do with your car
I hope this helps !!!"Dream World" by The B Sharps....describes a lot of the posts in the Loans and Mortgage sections !!!0
