what's the story with bony bob in the corner?:)

Hi Celebrate , bony bobs name is chummy .
I had requested a bird table as as christmas gift from snaps mam and dad and when the big day arrived so did the big box .
My grin was wide as I started unpacking it as I imagined all the fat balls I could dangle from it and then the stark (naked) truth started to dawn on me that my gift wasn't what I first imagined and tne only thing that would dangle off chummy would be 1p glitched football soaps (for those with a good memory) .
In fact i'd always wanted a skeleton since watching Steptoe and Son as a youngster in the late 60"s .
Many thanks to my in laws .
I was young once , now I get older all the time .

No worries all is fair in love and shopping :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Did you manage to get car coupons when they were out a couple of months back?

Will deffo pm you if I spot anything local

Had loads of the car coupons but can't remember where I put them now:o Probably somewhere in the spare bedroom that has been used as a storeroom while the house renovations have been going on. Must investigate:(

Will also pm if I spot anything local although I'm probably not going to spend as much time as I used to in Tesco:rotfl:. Spending a lot of time in charity shops and auctions at the moment. Daughter is getting married next year and we need to find 120 place settings of bone china tea ware:eek: for a "vintage" afternoon tea. Got about 40 so far...only 80 to go:rotfl:

Maybe you should look after son rather than get drunk whilst he is still awake?

That was a little bit mean:(

My son is 16 and only wants clothes to go partying tomorrow, and I am grieving for my monkey who I happened to love very, very much.

And he understands - he is looking after the other monkey at the moment.

And who said anything about getting drunk? Just a few to drown my sorrows. Dont we all need a little something sometimes?????

My first snipe on here. Suppose it had to happen:(

Just when I needed some kind words:(

Has anyone received coupons in yet? No "knickers in twist" just a feeling:)

I recieved 10 vouchers yesterday. That said I did email before other people started ringing up...I was so  at CS in T's that I emailed T's HO and KC as soon as I got home as I was seething.

I didn't need to send my till spits in, I got a reply next day saying they were sending complimentary vouchers, and they did. I did genuinely have 10 till spits tho and would have sent hem back if asked.

    Thank you very much:)

Was going to have an autopsy to see how he died - but the kids - and myself - cant really bear the thought of him being cut up - so we gave him a nice burial in the garden:)

Just hope the bloomin cat doesnt dig him up:(

So sad to hear of your loss , sad times for all .

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Weren't you only talking about getting a monkey the other week?

And the way you wrote it "black hole" etc etc makes it sound like a joke to be fair.
