Whoops! Sometimes freezing makes it hotter too!! Natural yoghurt or dessicated coconut, or coconut cream will cool it down quite nicely. I normally put coconut on the table if I am serving a hot curry!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Wondering if it would be worth trying the Dairy Milk chocs 3 for £10, would come up on apg at £7 each = £21, they are on offer at £3.75 at T, so would compare at £11.25 for 3. Therefore spend £10, get back agp for £9.75 + 10%
I was working out the Maltesers at the same time, (if I didnt have a puncture (new-to me car) and just found there is no spare wheel) Wish I could go and try it......
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

I'd freeze it as it is and then either add yogurt or soured cream to it when cooking

:D Gemini it was fabulous. Lovely small cheap hotel (45 rooms) in a good central position in Sorrento. Didn't have a pool which I did miss :( plus there isn't a beach - instead they have 'bathing platforms' which you pay €10 to have a sunbed & parasol on.
The hotel food was amazing. 4 courses every night & the best course was the different pasta dishes :)
Only a 5 minute walk to train station. 13 stops to Pompeii for €2.10 :D & €11 entrance. Compared to Thomsons trip at €35 each :eek: excluding entrance fee
Sorrento was full of good shops, from high end like Armani down to knick knack shops in the 'drain'. Everything was Made in Italy rather than Made in China tat. Lots of Limoncello & lemon soap :)
We will return as we still have to go over to Capri (€12) & Naples.
Also the town was heaving with American tourists from cruise ships that dock for the day.
We first noticed on the flight out that there were no children  & we seemed to be the youngest on the plane. The average age of the tourists was 60+
will add some pics when I've loaded them to PC. Have a few I can post from my phone & I'm sure we can get Fourp to post his 'movie' of the ice cream parlour :)

It sounds fabulous. I so want to go :)
I love pasta, a friend of mine is Italian and she makes her own pasta, wonderful. She loves entertaining too :D
Like you, I would miss a hotel pool. The bathing platforms sound good, at least you can swim and sunbathe :)

We always find it cheaper to make our own way to places of interest as opposed to travel tours. We very rarely book a package holiday, prefer to arrange our own.

A flight with no children...bliss...:rotfl: We were on a flight to Kuala Lumpur once and a young baby was in front of us. Baby cried for a long while before eventually sleeping, only for the parents to wake the little girl up to feed her which resulted in her screaming again for at least an hour :eek:

I would love shopping there, although my purse wouldn't...:rotfl::rotfl: I even like looking in the tourist shops although they sell mostly 'tat'...my husband despairs of me :rotfl::rotfl:

Would love to see more photos, you have me intrigued by fourp's movie..
    Born to glitch :D

When you reheat, adding a raw peeled potato whole or half will absorb some of the heat, like it does with too much salt in stocks etc. Then you can add double(single can split) cream, rice milk or plain yoghurt when ready to serve. Also you can then serve with yoghurt and drink with milk or lassi.
