Jerryjerryjerry, I think I finally figured out why you think I am contradicting myself

    I said this:

in response to the red text referring to MOCs in the Real Food magazine.

I was not saying that I had the SA manually enter a Kleenex MOC at £2.99. (I just realised you may have mistaken me for answering the bold statement)

I was surprised I wasn't clear enough on my original post so I just checked back and right enough I had marked in bold the section of text that I was responding to. It should have been pretty obvoius I was answering the OP about the magazines.

thanks hows the horse riding going have not seen you mention it for a while

Well.... are you sitting comfortably? :rotfl:
I went 3 weeks ago and we'd had to change instructors. I'd felt more confident with the previous instructor so was a bit put out, but thought it'd all be ok!
This instructor said we could try a few jumps at the end of the lesson, our old instructor overheard and said this was not a good idea with one of the horses that was in our lesson, as she's a bit too keen, our instructor basically ignored her and said it'd be fine, you could tell our old instructor wasn't happy!

The first part of the lesson went really well and I was getting Red to do all I wanted (he can be a bit lazy!) then it started hammering it down and all three horses in the lesson started misbehaving!
We went into the indoor arena and there was some loose panel making a noise, all the horses freaked out and the horse I was on had a total freak out, he wouldn't calm down at all and obviously I freaked out. The instructor was trying to calm him down and even she couldn't, what annoyed me was she kept telling me to relax, but didn't say he's not going to do anything bad etc etc, it's hard to relax when you are unsure of what could happen. She eventually said it would be safer to get off and when he calmed a little I managed to get off, I was so gutted and when I got home I burst into tears! :o

Anyway, after that I decided I was going to have lessons on my own as I want to build my confidence and wanted to learn with the other instructor. Good job as the week I didn't go my friend was with the instructor I didn't want and was doing two jumps and ended up falling off. TBH I think it was a bit too adventurous to be doing two jumps in a row when you've not jumped for 10 years or so! That's why I don't really gel with that instructor, she just seems to throw caution to the wind with everything.

So, nearly finished, I promise! :rotfl: I went last week for the first time on my own and LOVED it! :D Much preferred being on my own even though it was harder work! Padded pants have been ordered! :rotfl:
I told my instructor about me having to get off Red a few weeks before and explained what happend, she didn't seem too impressed. So we did a few exercises pretending there was something scary and what I should do. She explained that if it's nothing to be scared of really then Red will not do anything dangerous and I am to get angry with him and kick him on.
Anyway, it was good practice, when we were finishing up I had to walk him passed a wheelbarrow, he freaked out and wouldn't go passed it - so she shouted to get angry and kick him on as he was being silly, so I kicked him on, told him he was a muppet and suprise suprise the wheel barrow stopped being scary and he sauntered on passed!
I'd like to add for others, by angry she doesn't mean beat him or anything like that!

So I'm now the proud owner of a hat, boots and jodphurs! Even though I nearly died at the price of my hat and boots! Oh yes, I got jodphur boots but would like to get some long boots too, do you wear long boots and if so can you recommend any? I like the style of the country boots even though the price is a bit
Next lesson this friday, hopefully the pants have arrived! :rotfl:
Cor, I bet you wish you never asked! :D
