Morning all,
I feel absolutely rotten this morning. Freezing cold, glands like golf balls and the achiest legs! I'm not a happy bunny as I have to go to work to see if cover is available rather than calling in sick which is what I really want to do. My oldest dog is poorly as well which is more worrying g as she's normally such a happy girl and she's just curled up on the couch with my youngest pup cuddled in to her. I don't know who to feel most sorry for!
Hopefully I'll get cover at work and be back to catch up later but if not have a great day everyone.0 -

My mum bought a lappy a couple of weeks ago from Adsa and I think there must be something wrong with it.
It is so slow it's unreal
10 mins to boot up
takes a minute to get results from google etc, where I just checked mine and it's 0.1 seconds
takes 5 mins to shut down.
My uncle set it up for her so don't know if it's anything he's done.
should I wipe it and start again or just take it back to A's ?
Not sure but I think it's this one, deffo a Dell
http://direct.asda.com/Dell-M5040-15.6ins-Laptop---AMD-Brazos---320GB-Hard-Drive/000545846,default,pd.html
I have a dell, it's the worse computer I've ever had, I had a dell before n that wasn't so bad. This supposed be mega fast, I was too thinking it may been the setup. What security is on it, does that slow it down. Tbh I leave mine on all day as its such a pain. Now my iPad is fantastic, takes five seconds to boot, next time I'd defo save up the extra no buy a mac. Furthermore, dell customer services is shockingly carp, they don't even answer.SIMPLES!0 -

Our local B&Q reduces the boxes of plants to 10p. I bought a few boxes of 'Pinks' a few years ago and they come up each year. Usually all that is wrong with them is that they have not been watered enough.0 -

i work for the above, and usually there are loads of offers on plants, manly because we have too many sent in, so expect lots in the near future, especially when we start getting xmas trees in, which unfortunately wont be long
Good, an insider. Please can you post nearer the time when they are going to reduce their Christmas trees? TIA.;)0 -

Oh yes sorry. I was in B&Q yesterday and all bedding plants were reduced to £1. There was lots of large boxes of them and still alive.0 -

Morning All
I've still not caught up, in fact I've only read one page since I posted yesterday morning, how dare real life get in the way of this thread! :rotfl:
Anyway, I have had to make the big decision to skip all the way to my post from yesterday and I will catch up from there. So apologies to anyone if I've missed any important news or hug giving
Oh yes, and still cigarette free here :jI am struggling to talk to people who smoke as the smell really does make me want to heave! I think it's about time to come of the tablets soon as they are making me feel sicky now even when I take them with food. I have an appointment with the nurse on Friday so will speak to her then, and get my CO levels measured - hoping they will be at a big fat 0!
Hope you are all well and have a good day0
