On the 'parent child/disabled' debate, I didn't mean it as a slight on the disabled,, I was just saying it is disproportionate in my stores.

The majority of people i see in the disabled bay see fit as a fiddle to me too. I could have a disabled badge if i wanted but chose not to as I feel it should be for people who really struggle to walk and not any Tom !!!!!! or Harry who can 'claim' one.

By the way, to the poster who said the parent and toddler places were so kids don't smash the doors, think before you open your mouth.

Ahhh...some disabilities are not always noticeable to the eye. My uncle has had a triple by pass and can not walk very far. He looks well but after walking a few steps then you notice how much of a struggle it is for him.

parent with child spend lots ore than others i believe

There's an argument knocking around that it is also to do with less risk of kids getting knocked over if they are closer to the store too. I'm not buying that one, I put my dog on a lead so that he doesn't get run over.... :D:p:p:p

You've just confirmed the post above yours....;)

the extra room in the child and parent bays are so that you can get child seats/buggies in and out of the car and children safely in to the shop without hassle...:D

mine are a little older now but it used to infuriate me to see parents with teenagers or worse still those without kids using these bays and then I'd have to use a standard bay where some twonk would park within 6 inches of your door making it impossible to get your child back in the car...:mad:

That's cool, then he genuinely needs a disabled badge, the people i see park up and run into the shop certainly don't

    Edit..Unholybullet...thanks for the biscuits info..:T:T

    Hi
The biscuits were priced at £2.50 in my Tesco.

Could this be the correct price?
