    Evening all

Thought I'd use up some of the boots no7 vouchers I got on eBay today, should have known 5 different combinations was going to cause mayhem at the till :o

Would have been much easier if there had been face wipes or make up brushes, but totally messed up and the cashier was having a serious wobbler.

Told her at the beginning what I was doing and started sorting it all out into little piles. But first the make up voucher didnt scan ( realise now it's because the free item was dearer than nail varnish so caused it to be free and voided using the make up coupon) but at the time I just started rearranging the piles and got her to keep trying combinations.

She kept going on about getting her name on the super six, apparently it's a list they go on if they make too many mistakes. After half an hour she got someone else to take over cause she needed a break :rotfl:

Also bought wilkinson sword bikini pink razor which was advertised as getting a free sensitive razor with it, of course it never came off and caused another hoo ha over the wording of the promo. Manager insisted it was only blades but promo never mentioned blades, got it free in the end, but was told just this once

Next stop asda, got an apg back for £12 buying s&g, herb pots, fish fingers and for some reason threw in 3 bags of Doritos cool which cost me £3 off my apg when they showed as half the price of Tesco.

Planning on a Tesco visit tomorrow to stock up on loo roll, stain remover and hopefully Lenor

I was in Asda today thinking how nice it was too just be able to do a normal shop and not do the counting etc.

I saw the toothpastes in a section with travel size toiletries so picked one up one as was just going from memory that I thought it was 2p. I needed some sensitive toothpaste anyway so was not fussed it if was normal price.

Had almost forgotten about it when i just got glimpse of price on screen as she scanned it - 2p.

Put shopping in my car and went back and picked up another 10. Feel much better getting these types of glitches than the APG stuff.

Many thanks to OP (sorry can't remember who posted)

    Witch Hazel was OP there.

I thought the law up here was that if sometjing was sold singly you had to charge the same cost per unit for packs. Ie ifone bottle sells for £1 a pack of 4 same size bottles has to be £4 and.a pack of 6 same size bottles has to be £6

But if you dont sell single bottles you couod chatge £4 for the 4 pack and £5 for the 6 pack.

I was sure you could get multibuy deals on packs

 I don't think so. Would love to be proved wrong though ;)
I just can't remember seeing any signage or anything for a long time. Tried to look dot com, but all the packs are still showing as unavailable!

    Evening all

Not long in from work, what a shift that turned out to be. We were stood through the back with 3 or 4 mins to go before we finished and a manager comes storming round and gives us hell for standing about doing nothing. Didn't help that I was sat on a worktop :o:rotfl: I'd be there for literally 30 seconds, bloody typical. He was going nuts though, OK maybe we shouldn't have been doing nothing but I don't appreciate being shouted at like I'm back in school. Wonder whether they'll take into account we were 2 people down and worked our butts off to get everything done in time...

Just want to send some *huge hugs* to Budgie and her Dad as well.
Will be thinking of you both .

see i was thinking of the glitch that redfox has previously explained as:

"it's not a glitch because you are part of grabbit. If this thread has the most recent post then it appears under grabbit until another thread gets a more recent post" (or words to that effect)

    :p
    :D

You put it so much better than me

I know full well that if we end up on grabbit its because we are part of it and it goes by last post, so if the last post made across the whole grabbit board and its mini grabbits, it will show as such

I know what I mean, but thank you for being so much more eloquent than me :)

While tidying the garage today we found 4 botttles of Turner Road

Probably needs to be drunk, I don't think it's a keeper.

I've got some paradise hill red - not sure if that's the right name but I think this must be at least 2 Years old - wine festival double discount and our 1st taste of good quality red.

Another red I have has odd shaped bottles no longer stocked by anyone. I've also got stringed ones from Sainsburys that are now £11 when not on offer.

I am now wondering about doing a stockpile list - it will be a bit lle wine festivals we have known and loved :T
