I know the title might shock a few, but don't worry am not talking about planting chips in kids.
I've got a child with behaviour difficulties and as a family days out and holidays can become a really stress, but I found something that really helped us so I thought I'd share it with you guys.
GPS tracker for kids
It's basically a plastic device your child can wear or have clipped to a belt. You put a sim card inside the device and if your child runs off, you simply text the number of the sim card inside and you receive back a text with a google maps link! We have only had to use it once *touch wood*, but it's a massive peace of mind.
Are there any other BabyBear users here?

These sort of things have been around a long time for various purposes, not sure many kids would want something that looks like a baby toy on them.
Can be bought £30 cheaper in a more normal design

No I can't say I have, being in electronics I have seen them advertised for several years and had a passing interest.
It does seem that there are some quite cheap and nasty units out there but some seem decent enough.
This one Amazon sounds impressive for about £40 going by someones detailed review. Amazon are pretty good with terms even with marketplace sellers so if one turned out to be rubbish it would be easier to return.
