Flight booked on netflights.com, can I reserve seat?

Hi,

I have just booked 2 flights on Netflights.com and want to reserve some seats early.

I go on the Air France website and it doesn't seem to allow for this? It's asking for a booking ref no, and the one from netflights doesn't seem to work.

Have you recieved your e ticket, as opposed to a confirmation invoice which will only show your Net Flights reference number, which will not be an airline reference?

Not sure that Air France allow advance seat selection unless you want to pay extra for specific seats on long haul flights, their on line check in opens 30 hours before departure and as presumbly you are flying from the UK to Paris and then on somewhere else, your 30 hours starts before the French and you normally get a reasonable selection. I tend not to use AF anymore so the rules may have changed, if you have your ticket call AF in London and see what they say

Hi Alan,

Thank you for your detailed reply. I will receive my e-ticket within 48 hours, so should get it by tomorrow. I booked a year long ticket for my Father directly on the Air France website and it allowed for a seat reservation. I did notice they charged for some special seating however. I did read about the 30 hour check in - but it doesn't leave a lot of time - better make a note in my diary.

I shall await my next email and hopefully it should tally up on their system. Thank you again.

Every time I have booked with Netflights I have phoned them up and they have booked my seats. Never had a problem with them
