Hi wondering if I had any insurance on a store card I took out when I was 18yrs ( now 30)
I don't have any details other than my previous address not the account number.
Can anyone advise where I go from here. Many thanks

Hi and welcome
I take it you no longer hold any statements for this account then?
When/what year did you settle the account?
You can give it a go with the details of your name, address, DOB etc, remember to include any other addresses you may have lived in at the time you had the account open.
Another thing you could try, is give them a quick ring and ask, you never know you may be lucky.
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi there,
I too am approaching 30 and took out a store card under the Arcadia group when I was about 18. It's not showing on my credit file and am about to embark on locating the details from them.
I'll keep you updated and if you find anything let us know! What I have googled it's not easy now with these guys as GE Capital transferred over to Santander.
Fingers crossed!

Thanks for your replies. I don't have any details or the account number. I have written a letter now with my details name previous addresses etc also called topshop direct but they advised to write. When I took out the card ( think it was Arcadia group) now its owned by santander do I write to both companies?
I have read on the net iit's very hard to get any details from them.
Any advice on where to go next? Thans0 -
As your cards were taken out prior to 2005 when GE Capital were not regulated, any complaint is doomed to failure I'm afraid.0

Hi there can you explain why? Sorry I may seem stupid. Thanks0
