A little extreme , but if you have backed it up recently then put it in recovery mode and restore.0

thanks guys, there must have been something wrong with the bt hub cos i turned on my lappy that hadnt been used for a few days thaty wouldnt connect either, then i reset the home hub again and everything is working again.
