Does CB and CTC affect IS and HB?

Hello.:o
Long time lurker but first time poster.:o
I'm currently pregnant with my husband and I's first child.
We're currently on joint IS due to me being ill and my husband being my carer.
I've used the Entitled To calculator to see if CB and CTC will affect IS and HB and the IS and HB amounts that were given were the amounts that we receive at the moment so I assume that this means that IS and HB won't be affected by CB and CTC?
Is this correct?
Thank you in advance.
It's all a bit confusing.:o

Hello and welcome to the forum.
I'm in a similar position. As far as I know it doesn't affect IS and HB (from what CAB told me) but I'm sure someone who knows more will be along soon.

Good luck with your pregnancy.0 -
Short answer is no.
Longer answer is that CTC will feed into the HB calculation but having a child will increase your applicable amount by more, so HB won't be affected.0
