Does anyone know of an online savings account which accepts joint account holders, but with one account holder having read-only access?

I don't know of one, but you may be able to achieve the same thing if you can find an account that enforces the use of a card and card reader for making transactions, and not allowing the second person access to the card. The NatWest e-saver I had functioned this way, although whether it could be a joint account I don't know.

Why do you want this sort of arrangement? Is it to do with your heirs to be in the picture of your current balance?

Just one snag with the Natwest savings accounts....they pay complete pants interest

Which is why I moved nearly all the money I had in it elsewhere when the bonus rate ended - but the OP didn't say the rate had to be any good!

Open an account, only let one person have the log in details, then set up a moneydashboard account for the other, using the log in details of the first person.
