Lloyds PPI rejection

hi

i recieved my PPI rejection letter today and after reading previous posts i have concluded my objections were weak. i stated i was not advised of other cheaper products and that i didnt know i had PPI.
So any tip on what i do now. I have friends receiving cheques left right and centre with no solid objections. What is the best thing to say to re-complain. I have to admit i took two complaint reasons from this website when complaining but i need something else.
any help would be greatly appreaciated.
thanks

No requirement to do so. That is a myth and not a valid complaint reason.
that i didnt know i had PPI.

You cant prove you didnt know and the evidence would suggest you were told.

Maybe they have smaller amounts getting auto paid out (not investigated) or they have provable/factual complaint reasons.

You cant. You have one bite of the cherry unless significant new information comes to light.

This does kind of annoy me.

IF you had a valid complaint then you would know what it is, I really dislike the people jumping on the bandwagon of other people who have valid complaints.

This is a money saving forum for advising people how best to go about their complaint procedure if valid, not for advising people on how to cheat the system.

im certainly not trying to cheat the system. there is an whole host of facts i have left out regarding lloyds bank but to reclaim the ppi i followed instructions on here. i can assure you i had no idea that i had this, i was even hard sold the credit card via telephone. i didnt want that either. And after having PPI from Barclays, my then employer - who then never paid out when THEY made me redundant i vowed that i would never have PPI again. that was a fair few year before this lloyds claim. im merely asking what should i have said as this card is old and i dont know what they deem as valid. ...
it kinda annoys me that you can judge so quickly

    Can you prove this?

Then you can say no, there is mis-bought as well as missold.

Yet you didnt check the paperwork to make sure you didnt have it

Given on what you state, it's your words against theirs so the case is very very weak. If you re-read your OP then it certainly smacks of using any means.

    1. Weak arguments
    2. Lifting reasons from the mse website (I read that as reasons that didnt apply to you)
    3. "My friends are getting cheques left right and centre" so what should I have said.

Apologies if thats mis-interpretation but if so then you need to reword your OP to give far more details rather than just what you posted.

They dont have to, Lloyds sell lloyds products. Sainsburys dont tell you to go to Asda do they? Im sure you signed for it, so you should have known you had PPI.

    Perhaps they were mis-sold it.

no i didnt. i admit that, but if i was sold this over the phone i certainly dont remember signing anything and i will ask for a copy of the signed doc.
i think, in hindsight, my question should be - how is everyone else getting away with it, and for me, who does feel agrieved, not. why are some people just phoning up and receiving cheques in 8 weeks, what is it that they are saying that we aren't. just because this is very important to get right.
yes i have alot i can put to Lloyds but like you say - i cant prove it. the phone call wont be saved anymore and yes i feel i was mis sold the card let alone the ppi. i didnt want the card and the hard sell set in. i wanted a £500 balance and she practically told me i was getting £5K - i cant prove it though.
i do feel, like others that my claim is more valid than the people that seem to be easing through this process and getting cheques - as per the other persons post, that maybe my friends claims were small - the PPI were £7k and £4k repaid - not small by any means.

You didnt have to use it. You can still say no.
