Old Bradford & Bingley ISA

Looking through some old documents and had my memeory jogged with regard to an ISA with Bradford & Bingley. The last paperwork I had is dated 2009 and still has their logo on it.

Anyone else in the same boat and have had no annual paperwork sent out to them..........

Just wondered

Yes I will be trying Santander, I just thought it strange no paperwork sent out for so long.

No change of address on my part, no to worry it'll sort itslef out in the end once I contact them.

OK spoke to Santander and account found....

But I still cannot get my head around what he said. Santander did not send out any statements, or any paperwork at all with regard to this account because of a block from the HMRC, something about no extra money having been put in it and stopping the opening of another ISA account.

Anyone out there who can help me make sense of this please.

Oh by the way the interest rate on it is 0.1%

I know serve me right for not keeping on top of things

If it has gone dormant then you will recieve no further paperwork until you produce identification, such as a passport or driving licence, to prove you are the owner of the account.

At the moment you can upgrade it within Santander to 2.75% instant access or 2.6% fixed for 12 months. There is also a 3.3% 2 year isa avaliable if you hold or open a 123 bank account or credit card.

Both of the above things can be done at a branch.

nope. But is reflective of the warped savings market that has evolved since the Credit Crunch.

I'd be lying if I said I disagreed.
