Income Support & Carer's Allowance

I am looking for some advise. I currently get Income support as I am a single parent, allowance is £71.00 per week.
I have just put in a claim for Carer's Allowance for my mother as I have moved in with her due to health implications.
I understand she will loose money from her Imcome Support.
Will my Imcome Support money change from £71.00 per week? And how much Carer's Allowance will i be entitlied to?
Many Thanks
Donna

I would get advice as to whether this is the best solution for you both.
Whilst you will get paid CA, it will be deducted from your IS £ for £ so there will be no nett increase (there may be a disregard for the first £5), however, you will also receive the the Carers Premium which will increase your payments by about £32/w.
However, if your mother lives alone, she may receive the Severe Disability Premium of £58 which she will lose if you claim CA.0 -

daughter has stated she has moved in with her mum so her mum is going to lose the premium anyway.0
