Hi,
We used Trumans in Haslingden, family run firm, great value for money and there workmanship was spot on. We had all our windows and doors done by them and they were recommended by a very fussy friend beforehand.
Hope this helps.0 -

There are good compare web sites if you google double glazing review web sites or just double glazing companies. However I am concerned about your comments about the ombudsman. There isnt "one" for the whole industry, there are at least two, TGO and DGCOS
TGO is the glazing ombudsman and DGCOS the double glazing & conservatory ombudsman.
Installers join these schemes voluntarily, there isnt an industry ombudsman for every company
TGO allows you to search their site without giving any of your personal details, DGCOS ask you to enter your details, this is then used as a sales enquiry they distribute to their members
you can also try GGF the glass and glazing federation who have high standards for their members
sashmanBuying quality goods which last, should be an investment that saves money. :T
Buying cheap products which fail, wastes money and costs twice as much in the long run. :mad:0 -
