No final bill yet

Should I be worried about this? Switched from EDF Energy to Ebico on 12th March for electricity. Sent in final reading just before that date, but have not received a bill from EDF Energy yet. How long does it usually take??
Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time

Me too! I switched from BG to Ebico on 21 February, and still no sign of a final gas bill.
I think that this topic has been covered in another thread somewhere...0 -
when I switched from powergen to Ebico,
it took from 23 august 06 until 05 january 07 to get my final bill from powergen,
I wasn't worried as I had been paying by monthly DD so I know I wouldn't be oweing them that much,
so it got paid eventually,
albiet abit long in the tooth,
they wouldn't except anything off me,
they said my new supplier had to supply them with the final meter reading,
which they did eventually,
which was the reading I gave them back in august just before I switched,

I switched from ScottishPower to EDF for both Gas and Electric at the same time last year. The Electric switch over was really smooth but the Gas wasn't successfully moved for months. I wasn't worried about not getting a final bill but after three months, and the receipt of Quaterly bill, it was obvious that I was paying SottishPower and EDF for Gas. It ended up being a real saga as EDF had taken on the wrong meter numbers which are supposed to be unique - to the point that it was even suggested that I had 2 gas meters in my flat!!
It's now sorted but I ended up paying a huge wack to Scottishpower as I wasn't on dual fuel with them etc etc so it did cost me.
So, my advice is to not worry, but if you haven't got your final bill within 3 months call and check to make sure you have switched over successfully.
I think I should note here that I am a bit of a Utilities tart in that I change quite regularly in order to get the best deals out there and this one occasion was the only problematic change - all others went through with no issues.0
