  • I've seen cheap cars for sale before by sellers claiming to be mechanics, family members of mechanics, etc etc, but still been ropey bangers when I've been to view them.

    I'd agree that the mileage is too much. It's not a diesel or big petrol.

    They're cheap, small, and not built to last.

    the car i bought is a next door neighbors friend,so i have no reason to not believe him.

    Nonetheless, the engines are tough and well proven.

    Rather less likely to blow a head gasket than our dealer friend's favourite out-the-door-quick-and-no-refunds-given car.

    Autotrader is fll of Picanto's for arounbd 1500 quid with sub 70k on..

    But where are the ones for around £800? After all £1200 is far too much.
