Anyone know how to easily create hyperlinks from a list of cut & pasted text like this:
Admiral 0800 600 800 http://www.admiral.com/
Adrian Flux 01553 777 240 http://www.adrianflux.co.uk/
AON 01384 552 670 http://www.aon.com
A-Plan 0845 071 123 http://www.aplan.co.uk/
AXA 0800 015 4292 http://www.axa-motor.co.uk
Bell Direct 0800 140 180 http://www.belldirect.co.uk/
etc etc....
Yes they are links as you see them here on the site but i want to keep a personal copy as an archive. I have copied Mark's exhaustive list from a while back but apart from going through the list one by one  i cant get frontpage or word to recognise the http bit as a link.
Easier way

Multi-tasking is a way of ensuring you don't enjoy any of them.

In Word, as the cursor hovers, you get a pale yellow comment box
CTRL + click to follow link
when you press CTRL, the cursor changes to fingerpoint and ...0 -

In Word, select the address that you want to be a hyperlink and copy it. With the address still selected, right click, click on hyperlink. In the dialog box at the bottom, where it says "address", paste the address et voila.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0

If you simply add a space or return at the end of each address, Word should automatically change it to a hyperlink. So if you have a lot to reformat, look at the formatting at the end of each address - is it a paragraph mark like this ¶ or a manual line break which is an arrow to the left?
Whichever it is, do a global Find & Replace (Ctrl + H). Tell Word to Find all the paragraph marks (or manual line breaks) and replace them with a space, followed by a paragraph mark (or manual line break).
That should do the trick - and quickerWarning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
I pasted all the list in your first post and it worked like that
Same if you just type an address in, it recognises the format as a link0 -
In Excel I pasted an address; paste options - keep source.
Then on cursor hover it says
Click once to follow. Click and hold to select this cell.
Excel would probably be more useful for this function to keep column formatting, etc but I reckon Access would also be useful; after all it is a database you're compiling0 -

With skillz like that no wonder you're debt free! Nice work, i simply added a space and it turned into a link - freaky!
