NCD over 24 months old who will insure me?

I have declared my car SORN for the past two years. I wanted to reinsure my car and get it back on the road, but am struggling as my proof of NCD is 26 months old. Can anyone advise who will accept proof NCD up to 3 years? I had one minor bump over 3 years ago, which was a minimal pay out (to a taxi driver who lied, but lets not go there).

I have 3 years NCD which I want to keep rather than go back to 0 no claims. I've tried Adrian Flux and the company they have quoted for insurance has a really bad reputuation. The Co-op is very expensive (£1200+) so some advice would help.

CIS (Co-op) is the only one at the moment that people have been saying will accept older than 24 month NCD

Outside of that it is simply a case of using the aggregators (eg Confused.com) etc and taking the best prices. Some insures do give an introductory discount but these are applied automatically and you dont need to do anything to get them
