James Wong's book was given to me for my birthday recently. It is a revelation. There is so much stuff in the garden, ornamental stuff, that you can eat. Rhuus is sumac! Meadowsweet tastes like elderflowers and marzipan. Dahlia tubers were brought over as a food and the flowers were a happy byproduct, there's a recipe in there for dahlia tuber hotcakes!
I've only just started reading this book but I've got a sneaking suspicion it's going to change my garden completely. If you can get hold of a copy have a look because it's great.
His website is here and it's really interesting.
I'll stop now - it sounds like I'm gushing but I'm really excited

I bought a copy of his book as well and haven't been able to put it down. So many ideas and so much helpful information about each of the plants. I shall be looking around to get the best value for the seeds though as I think I am going to be trying quite a few of his suggestions over the next few months.0
