Hi , My Son has the turtle beach X11 headset for playing on xbox 360.
They are starting to get a bit crackly when playing and so for Xmas I wanted to replace them
What would be a decent set to replace them with?
He is a "serious" gamer so want to get him reasonably good ones.
the only thing is he likes wired as oppossed to wireless.
Any reviews to share?
Thanks

Try a pair of Turtle Beach X11's
If what he has is good then another pair would be welcome.0 -
How much are you looking to spend? My bf is an Xbox geek so should be able to help0
-
Thanks!
I would be looking to spend around £100 - my Sons only 13 so I think £100 should be sufficient.
If your BF could help I would appreciate it.
We are looking a set of turtle beach which are wired as oppossed to wireless.
Thanks again. The loopy one has gone :j0 -

When he says wired for xbox does he mean the headset to the xbox wired or xbox to controller wired? , It might be worth checking. I play alot of online gaming and i use a fully wireless headset i didnt like the wired ones. If he wants wireless but wired to the controller then amazon have turtle beach px5 for £130 this is what i have. If he wants fully wired then look at sharkoon headsets on amazon £98.0

If he's serious, get the Turtle Beach x41's. They're wireless and so I'd advise you to buy some rechargable batteries. They're also 7.1 dolby sorround sound and the sound is phenomenal.
Every 'serious' gamer must have them.
Here is a link to them and all thee different prices online:

No one. I know it's slightly above your price, but the bf says that astro gaming headsets are better. He has got the astro a40 that are wired. But you can get the astro a30 for £150 or there abouts0

There is also a brand called tritton that do good gaming headsets0

Astro Gaming Headsets are for ultimate pure geeky gamers, who spend 80% of their life playing games. They are a perfect buy if your sons a keen gamer.
However for the budget your asking for i do also recommend the X41's, i used to have these when i played and they are absolute phenomenal. Honest your son would be over the moon.Better to understand a little than to misunderstand a lot.0 -
