Tax band B/C under £4000?

Hi peeps, just wondering if anyone knows of cheap to tax family size cars for around £4000? Looking at tax bands B/C.

the world is you oyster but tax isnt going to be much different, you should look at fuel economy and insurance estimates. are you after a mpv like vauxhall zafira or will a hatchback/estate/saloon do?

Looking for a newish car. Doesnt need to be an mpv. Maybe from an astra size and up. Prefferably a mondeo size i suppose. cheers

Whats the point of saving £100 on tax when it costs £££ more on everything else?

I wouldnt want a car with a DPF. I do too many short journeys and just know it will cost a fortune to sort. I would rather have one without it and pay the extra tax each year.
