Idiot's guide to the iphone?

Not quite right as it can be argued that Android phones can do more than Iphones. A more accurate comparison would be that iphones are like the most basic model of a particular BMW - they look good but don't do anything special. An android by contrast would be like the top spec model of a particular Skoda. They might not look as aesthetically pleasing but they pack a lot more punch and you get more for your money.
In your opinion.
The iPhone 5, whilst not being the fastest phone on the market in terms of specs, beats every other smartphone in real life benchmark tests.
I really don't understand this Apple Vs. Android rivalry where people feel the need convince anyone that will listen that one is worse than the other.
Truth be told, there isn't much in it and comes down to personal preferrance. You like Android? Cool. I like Apple, cool.0 -
I've already managed to delete everything including the operating system off the phone
Some tips:
1. If you turn 'Mobile Data' off in Settings, you won't be able to send/receive picture messages. It doesn't use up your data allowance to send/receive them, but they are sent via the data thingy somehow so it needs to be on.
2. Turn off 3G when you aren't using the internet and your battery will last longer.
3. Unless you have data you want to back up, don't bother with iTunes, it's horrible, you can download and update stuff on the iPhone itself.
What type of iPhone is it? There are pictures on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPhonetimberflake wrote: »I really don't understand this Apple Vs. Android rivalry where people feel the need convince anyone that will listen that one is worse than the other.0 -
