What's this called DIY tool called?

Hi All

Just a quickie.

I need to know what a particular tool is called in search/order one online. What I had my laminate flooring put down the installer used a tool it was a similar size to an Argos pencil (length and width) it was used between the hammer and the pins holding the beading, so that when the hammer was used it didn't dent the wood.

Searching for pin/nail hammer bashing thing didn't bring it up, surprise. :rotfl:

Any Help Much Appreicated.

    Tapping block?

I'd get the whole assembly: block, hammer, little man.

    Nail punch.
[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.

Get ones with a concave head. The flat head ones easily skim off the nail . B&Q did a pack of 5 various size ones for £6ish. ( you can prob get them cheaper online
