How to deal with this scratch on my car

I'd be grateful for any advice on how to deal with this scratch on my car the MSE way. It's on a Ford Mondeo.

    T_Cut and leave it if metal is not showing especially if it is an older car.

    If it is a newer car probably best taking it to a bodyshop.

    As above ^ but I would get a quote from a 'cosmetic' company as well and compare prices.

    Get a diy paint repair kit, these are recommended on the various car forums: http://www.paints4u.com/ but there are others.

    It looks to me like there may be some metal exposure? If so,blob it with some waxoyl to seal it from the atmosphere whilst you take time to consider your options.
    Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
