Advice please on climbing plant for shady area

Please could anyone advise me on the above. Area gets some, limited sun in the mornings. Used to have a honeysuckle there, but after a few years it turned into a pathetic plum plant, had no flowers/fruit this year, only 2 or 3 last year, so needs replacing. Would like honeysuckle, but could I grow it from seed, as dont want to buy another grafted-on failure.
