  • so.. i am going to start up a fitted kitchen and bedroom show room.

    If I rent the building under my own name then if the business goes bust, i would still be liable for a 3 year lease which the landlord required in this case.

    what i am curious about is if

    Once my company has been registered, would i be able to rent the building under the business, and as such I would act as the Director and so responsible(not liable) for the business and lease, if the business did go bust I would be able to essentially walk away with no liability and not have to worry about the 3 year lease payments.
