Where to get a trundle bed?

I wonder if you can help.

I am on the search for a nice trundle/truckle bed.

Ideally I would love a white wooden frame, but not overly choosy. More keen to go for the trundle that rises up level with the other bed.

I have looked on M&S but that does not rise, Laura Ashley, Aspace and GLTC. Does anyone have any other ideas?

I got mine from eBay, but its a John Lewis bed. Thrilled with it. It's exactly what you describe. Will see if I can find the listing for you.

If it is for occasional use and you want cheap and cheerful, We bought a stacker bed from ebay and it's lovely. Despite being lower end of the range matresses (came with frame) the people that have slept on it have said its comfy.

Argos Stakka 659/5014 has two beds the same height that stack to make a higher single.

Atlas 692/5024 and Belton 695/9100 both lift up to the same height as the bed.

Ikea do a day bed which is not too expensive and has a pull out bed which is the same level as the main bed. It also has storage drawers which is handy, and is white wood.

We got a guest bed with trundle underneath from Beds are Uzzz (has a few stores but not nationwide). It's divan style, not wooden, but I've been so pleased with it the whole thing, including two sprung mattresses, cost £400, and is very comfortable to sleep on. It's similar to this but the frame is not fabric covered.

Julian bowen Barcelona hideaway bed. just brought from independent bed seller. Its fab, very sturdy. Held weight of my 19st dad no problem. Looks great and dead easy to pull out and put up.

Comes in pine or white. I went with pine and just brought cheap mattresses as only for guest use

We've got the forerunner of that (solid headboard) and it's great. Definitely two, sturdy adult size beds.
