medical condition

I am able to get travel insurance through my bank but i have been diagnosed with a URETHRAL CARUNCLE which is a benign lesion to the entrance to the bladder. I am awaiting the removal of this. But i fly in eight weeks time and the hospital said i will not get in before that date. So i am trying to declare it to through a travel insurance web site but it is not coming up on any of there medical conditions. Do i need to declare it is it classed as a minor condition. But they do require you to state if you have any hospital admissions pending.:(

Yes you will need to declare it. If you do not expect it to cause any problems while you are away you can declare it, but exclude any cover for it.

Have you asked your current (bank) insurer?
