Do you mean Petforums or Purrs? I'm a Purrs member and there's quite a few Bengal owners on there, never seen one bashed - only drooled over!

Im suprised tbh if anyone had felt unwelcome on purrs ( i know there may be more talk amonsgst old timers etc so you might not feel immediately overwhelmed with love so to speak:o) but i think as a forum i find it more welcoming than a lot of others you go on.
i mean on here for example you could post on disability board for example and get random abuse of being a scrounger and being in a wheelchair doesnt shouldnt stop you working down a mine type of troll attack:o (obviously an over exagarated example:eek:)
I have seen people come on asking for help getting their cats rehomed in all circumstances etc and the response has allways been in getting help/info across.
of course their may always be an occasional nutter but as a long time MSe 'er you should be able to spot them:cool:
I love looking at other peoples cats, Friday im sad to hear you felt like that..your bengals are just amazing and would surely have everyone drooling:(

I meant the Petforums, definitely not Purrs Glad they're not bashed on Purrs - I might even check it out :T

Thank you very much I have only ever been on Purrs to the shop part to buy the very many Da Bird feathers the Bengals get through, I must admit I've never checked out the forum, but I would expect it to be welcoming. It's the Petforums I had an issue with - I can't stand people who sl*g off an entire breed just because they've heard - fourth hand - about an isolated example of an aggressive cat! They then tar the whole breed with the same characteristics - makes me mad :mad: The fact that the Asian Leopard Cat which Bengals originate from is actually very shy and timid, never comes into their thought processes. Anyway, I'll shut up now as I could go on about this all night :rotfl:

Friday cat Im so glad its not Purrs you meant, i must admit i was a bit shocked as couldnt think of anyone who would say anything bad about your cats:eek: I havent been on the other forum so cant comment, I should imagine you are coming across a bit of jelousy maybe or just plain ignorance? I would love to see more pics of your feline crew...im sure if you did pop onto purrs everyone will be sighing over them and pestering you for more pics:o
Im not sure how i joined purrs to be honest, i think i was looking for a rescue kitten so had been asking advice:o
I like purrs as you can be as crazy cat lady as you like..no one thinks anything you do or say is in the least bit odd:D
