I thought I would start a thread to help members cut down large fuel bills with idea's from members....
Use a slow cooker instead of the oven.
Do not fill the kettle for one cup.
Invest in thermal t.shirts and leggings.
Unplug and switch off.
Line instead of tumble dryer

Submit readings a lot...EDF accepted!
Check your DD is correct, never trust suppliers.
Give and ensure your switch read is used.
Always give and ensure your reads are used in moving home.
Always take the readings before engineers change the meter and the opening ones after they do.
Always take the readings when the meter fuse is installed or removed.

Love the idea of a new current thread as winter is approaching and some of us (especially me:eek:) need some ideas?
As of this weekend, we have started turning TV's off in rooms that noone is in !! I know that sounds stardard, but believe me its never been standard in our household!0
