Taking up turf and re-using
Project no. 1 complete (laying patio). Onto project no.2; leveling the garden.
Our garden slopes down away from the house, then rises sharply at the end. There are lumps and bumps all over the garden too so I think the best thing to do is rip it all up and start over.
To level it out I will need quite a lot of soil. Instead of spending a fortune on buying bulk bags of soil, could I get away with putting some of the turf I've dug up in the lowest points of the garden and put a layer of new top soil over the top, onto which I'll lay/sew the new turf/seeds?

Yes, turn it upside down and once the grass has died, resow your grass seed or pop new turf on top.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0
